Belfast International Airport
The project
E2M has delivered mechanical, electrical and HVAC installations across several food and beverage schemes at Belfast International Airport, including Elder & Co, The Lagan Bar, Flax & Soda and Burger King.
The challenge
Airport hospitality brings together the needs of passengers, kitchen operators, fit-out teams and the airport. Each unit has its own layout and equipment, requiring coordinated power, lighting, water and ventilation installations.
Our scope
- Electrical distribution, containment and small power
- Dedicated supplies for commercial kitchen equipment
- Feature, functional and emergency lighting
- Data infrastructure for point-of-sale systems
- Hot and cold water services, drainage and kitchen waste arrangements
- Heating, cooling, ventilation and extract systems within each project scope
- Testing, commissioning and operation and maintenance handover
Bringing it together
E2M worked as the MEP contractor alongside the respective fit-out contractors. Each installation was brought together with testing and handover documentation for the unit. The gallery identifies the completed Elder & Co interiors and the Flax & Soda ductwork installation; the individual schemes are described separately below.
